I thought today would be killer. You know, one of those days that hiding under the bed would be the only safest thing to do.
I woke up, it was about to pour. When I was about to leave the house, it drizzled.. so no biggie.

But when I stepped foot onto the road, it poured. POURED.
So yeah, I was wet.

It was worse when I was three quarters into my journey. By the time it didn’t pour.
It was Wild Wild Wet in Hougang.

So I was left with the last part of my journey. The backgate to the learning hub.
Lucky Kenneth from History class agreed to share his umbrella with me, even though I don’t talk to him much.

Anyway, at the study area everyone was pretty much cramming bio. I forgot that coordination and response had 4 sub-topics. I mainly focused on the eye and CNS. I didn’t study much on the endocrine system and blood glucose regulation. Lucky had p0larz potassium hydroxide to give me th 411 on the blood glucose regulation. So I had basic info la.

Shan’t elaborate on the first 2 periods so straight to the bio test. The test was kinda okay. The first question was okay, pretty basic stuff about the reflex action. The second one on why reflex actions are faster than hormone regulation was crap. I stated what both processes are and then said reflex actions was fast due to the nodes of Ranvier allowing faster transmission of impulses, which I highly doubt is correct. The eye question was good. I’m just afraid he’ll penalize me for drawing the light ray wrongly (mine intersected each other -_-) and the last question. Thought I knew, but nope. Anyhow whacked the question. Something about how does insulin regulate blood glucose. I answered by saying insulin changes glucose to glycogen. Then glucagon changes it back to glucose, which is how it regulates the blood glucose. Crap answer…

SO the rest of the know wasn’t much. Had tuition, went through logarithms.

Don’t feel like studying today. Feel pretty weak (physically that is) and quite nervous about tomorrow’s oral. First time, because always been confident about oral examinations. First time for everything right? Anyway, need to plan my study timetable for the week and consecutive 2 weeks. Quite scared. Afraid not getting the Eng+2 pass. Only subjects confident in passing is English, combined humanities (need to chiong geog somehow) and MAYBE malay. History maybe, If I fail, hopefully my MYE marks can pull me up somehow… though the EOYs are 65%. Speaking about the percentage, hopefully I’ll pass my overall combined science. Emath…. needs practise… alot…

I share the same sentiments as Poh Shen…. exams….

My blog has a lack of pictures. Mainly because uploading pictures here is quite a chore. The resizing, and then finding out that the picture is still too big. Hassle. But found a picture at Bits&Pieces that really made me laugh.
